Blanche Neige

More Disneyland. Featuring Tristram's hat! Older pictures tomorrow--and soon some from Lisa's trip!

Dan and Robyn got here today, after a grueling flight with three crying kids in their row. I fear Tristram will be the three crying kids on our way back at the end of June.

We had a pretty low-key day, transatlantic overnight flights being tiring and all. They got to see him playing, and he took a long nap, and we went to get dinner. They, like Lisa arrived on chicken night. We walked over to Chatou to get bread and salad fixings, and then through the square to get chicken, and came back and ate. And that was that--bedtime for Tristram, and for our intercontinental travelers.

Tristram was quite shy at first--after his "I love strangers"-fest of the last couple of months, which culminated in his demanding that strangers in the train station in Angouleme pick him up, he is wary of new people again. It wasn't dramatic--he sat on their laps being very quiet and pensive for a while, then got back to playing and eventually got extremely enthusiastic about the new people who had come to admire his every move and indulge his every whim. But it is a distinct change from a few weeks ago.

Tomorrow is the flea market at St. Ouen, aka Clignancourt. We are hoping that Dan and Robyn's first trip to Europe will be all that they might hope.
